A foot (14) of a contact spring (CS) (15) inside a recess (13) of a relay header (10) fastens on a connection piece (11). The CS's free end (17) is controlled by an actuator (19). To avoid a broken part in a broken contact spring near its fastening point (16) becoming disengaged from the actuator and so causing likely faulty contacts, the CS is prevented from sliding into the header's recess.
