<p>A microscope system includes an illumination unit for illuminating an object, an image forming lens for projecting the object illuminated by the illumination unit to an image pickup element, a light adjusting unit for adjusting light intensity of the illumination unit, a zoom mechanism for changing the magnification of the object projected to the image pickup element by the image forming lens, and a control unit for controlling the light intensity of the illumination light by changing the current pulse width to the illumination unit in synchronization with a drive pulse of the image pickup element according to adjustment by the light adjusting unit and performing the change of the current pulse width in accordance with the change of magnification by the zoom mechanism.</p> |
