The invention relates to a pharmaceutical dosage form comprising several units which contain an acid-labile benzimidazole compound as active ingredient. Each of the aforementioned units comprises an inert nucleus, an active ingredient layer and an intermediary layer. Said units, which are mixed with compression excipients, compressed and coated with an enteric coating, constitute a compressed pharmaceutical dosage form which is suitable for oral administration for the prevention and treatment of disorders related to abnormal gastric acid secretion.
