The invention relates to a method for distributing audio data such as speech, sound and/or noise optionally at different times to preferably a plurality of recipients in a telecommunication network. The audio data are available either already in digital form or in analog form and digitized in a memory and distribution device. They are saved in said memory and distribution device and forwarded as an analog signal to the predetermined recipients after digital-to-analog conversion, namely either directly or once the memory and distribution device has informed the recipients about the presence of a message.
