The invention relates to safety protection of an electric water heater, and provides an electricshock-prevention type electric water heater, which comprises a case, an internal bladder, an electric heater, an inlet pipe, an outlet pipe, an inlet liner tube and an outlet liner tube. The inlet liner tube and the outlet liner tube are insulating tubes, and disposed outside the internal bladder or inside the internal bladder. The inlet liner tube and the outlet liner tube are set in shape of curved or broken line or upside-down u shape, M shape, or combination of an inlet straight tube and an sleeve to increase the meander length of water flow. The length between the inlet and the outlet of the inlet liner tube or the outlet liner tube is more than 53r2, thus prevention of current leakage can be achieved.
