Display method for dynamic images on spatially-divided screens, e.g. for public transport information, by time-varying transfer of bitmap images for intermittent display on screen points

The method involves generating bitmaps (24) of the images in a central control computer (12), the bitmaps containing more pixels (26) than the number of screen points. The bitmaps are transferred from the central computer to at least one display controller. The display points are controlled based on the transferred bitmaps in a time-varying manner. Each pixel is at least intermittently represented at a screen point. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a display; (2) a computer program; and (3) a computer program product.
