The invention relates to a device for removing jointing material comprising a drive device by means of which a tool is placed in a short-stroke oscillatory motion. The tool is connected to the drive device via a sonotrode body and is connected to the latter via a tool holding fixture that is integrated inside the sonotrode body. The tool is connected to a fixing device in a non-detachable manner.
