<p>Before the temporal difference between the theoretical arrival time [TAT] at which a packet may arrive and the time [t(k)] at which the packet has actually arrived, an intermediate variable [K] is defined, and calculation [K = TAT - t(k)] is carried out. Means for comparing the temporal difference with the counter overflow judgment time [M] determined by the sum [L + D] of the packet arrival permissible time [L] and a reference packet interval [D].</p> |
