<p>An individually isolated animal breeding unit capable of being manufactured at a low cost and being easily handled, a system using the unit capable of remarkably reducing equipment and maintenance costs required for animal experiments and saving labor, and a novel animal transportation configuration (breeding cage having transportation function), the system capable of maintaining animal breeding environment comprising A) the animal breeding unit having an inner vat with a sufficient space for breeding an intended animal, having an outer vat capable of storing the inner vat, and capable of maintaining a specified cleanliness, B) a means for providing the inner vat having the specified cleanliness, C) inner vat replacement equipment allowing the animal breeding unit to be stored therein allowing the inner vat to be replaced while maintaining the specified cleanliness, and D) a means for recovering the replaced inner vat.</p> |
