<p>Cellulase preparations containing endoglucanase originating in Zygomycetes, proteins lacking the cellulose-binding domain thereof, modified proteins thereof or homologs thereof together with a reducing agent. A method of processing a cellulose-containing fiber which comprises treating the fiber with the above-described cellulase preparation to thereby improve the properties of the fiber; a method of deinking used paper involving the step of treating the used paper with the above-described cellulase preparation and a deinking agent; and a method of improving the freeness of paper pulp involving the step of treating the paper pulp with the above-described cellulase preparation.</p> |
