<p>An ergonomic support had an extending surface, which can be a push paddle or an arching pressure surface. The extending surface has an extension mechanism, which can be a guide channel for an extending paddle or a guide rail for an arching pressure surface. The extending mechanism further has an actuation linkage, which can be a traction rod, cable or a compressive mechanism. The actuating linkage operates to move the extending surface relative to the extending mechanism when an actuator is operated. The ergonomic support is characterized in that the extending mechanism is mounted on a back plate or seat frame and a passive flexible weight distribution plate is mounted on the extending surface.</p> |
