PURPOSE: A slag and burr removing apparatus is provided to prevent a shear part, which removes burrs formed at a lower cutting plane of a slab, from being subject to overload by slantingly installed a lower shear beam. CONSTITUTION: A slag and burr removing apparatus includes an upper shear part(200) for removing torch slag formed at an upper cutting plane of a slab(100), a lower shear part(300) for removing burr formed at a lower cutting plane of the slab(100), a frame(400) for supporting the upper and lower shear parts(200,300), a slab conveying part(500) for conveying the slab(100), and a control section for controlling an operation of each component. The frame(400) has a base frame(401), a vertical frame(402), and a connecting frame(403). The vertical frame(402) has an air cylinder receiving section(404), an upper shear beam receiving section(405) and a lower shear beam receiving section(406).
