PURPOSE: Provided is a method for producing a wig having curl capable of readily swelling and a curl pipe used therefor, by which it is possible to produce a exuberant and aesthetic wig of a large volume. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing a wig includes the steps of repeatedly folding a weft produced by connecting a hair root of a wig hair with a connecting thread; placing the folded weft at one end of a gauze in a way that the connecting thread is located near one end of the gauze and covering the weft with the gauze; inserting a curl pipe into a position near the end of the gauze covering the weft and winding the gauze around the curl pipe in the longitudinal direction of the curl pipe, thereby fixing the weft around the curl pipe; applying heat at a predetermined temperature to the weft wound around the curl pipe to form curl; unwinding the gauze around the curl pipe and separate the weft with curl formed; and sawing the weft on a wig cap.
