METHOD OF PRODUCING HYDROGEN GAS BY USING HYDROGEN BACTERIA

摘要

Hydrogen bacteria and methane bacteria both inhabit in organic wastes and wastewater.In case of using such an organic waste or wastewater containing these bacteria as a substrate in culture,hydrogen produced by the hydrogen bacteria is consumed by the methane bacteria.A biota is heated in order to reduce the hydrogen−metabolizing bacteria while maintaining the activity of the hydrogen−producing sporulation bacteria.Namely,a method of producing hydrogen gas by effectively using hydrogen bacteria wherein heating is carried out at 68 to 95°C and the treating time and pH value are controlled.
