The invention relates to power engineering. The inventive energy producing method consists in sinking one end of a pipe in the ocean deep in such a way that the other end provided with a turbine is disposed above ocean surface, activating a starting pump for lifting deep water to a low pressure area in a direction to ocean surface. When a water-gas mixture comes up from the external end of the pipe to the blades of the turbine, the starting pump is switched off.
