The invention relates to an administration device for dispensing a liquid active-substance solution from an active-substance container (1), said device having a displaceably mounted stopper (2). The administration device comprises an expulsion member (10) for displacing the stopper (2). A contact surface between a surface (5) of the stopper (2) and a front face (4) of the expulsion member (10) or an attachment (12; 13; 14; 16) for the expulsion member (10) is smaller than the surface (5) of the stopper (2). The front face (4) of the expulsion member (10) is preferably uneven for this purpose. The invention also relates to a stopper covering (20) for a stopper (2) of an active-substance container (1), said stopper being displaceable by an expulsion member (10) for administering an active substance from the active-substance container (1). The stopper covering (20) is preferably configured as a sleeve and surrounds the outer surface of the stopper (2) in such a way that an enclosed peripheral area of said outer surface remains free.
