PURPOSE: A resin composition for compounding rubbers is provided to improve the elasticity as well as the toughness so that the rubber composition can be reinforced with increasing elongation at break. A rubber composition containing the same resin composition is also provided. CONSTITUTION: The resin composition for compounding rubbers comprises an epoxy resin having at least two epoxy groups per one molecule, an amine-based resin, and a butadiene-acrylonitrile polymer having functional groups at both terminals. The resin composition is added to the base rubber for compounding selected from the group consisting of a natural rubber, a mixture of natural rubber and diene rubber and a mixture of natural rubber and diene copolymer rubber in the amount of 2 to 10 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the base rubber. |
