<p>PURPOSE: A specific multicast tunneling service method and an apparatus in mobile IP(Internet Protocol) network are provided to perform a multicast tunneling by a specific multicast packet having a specific multicast tunnel header having a care-of address list of plural moving nodes. CONSTITUTION: First to fourth nodes(310-1,310-2,310-3,310-4) receive multicast packet from an opponent node(300) connected to a home network. An original network agent(320) transmits the multicast packet received from the opponent node(300) to the First to fourth nodes(310-1,310-2,310-3,310-4) through an intermediate router(330) and a foreign network agent(340). First to fourth nodes(310-1,310-2,310-3,310-4) are moving nodes which visit to the foreign network from the home network. The first and second nodes(310-1,310-2) receives Co-located Care-of address from a DHCP(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server which exists in the foreign network. The third and fourth nodes(310-3,310-4) utilize router information of the foreign network agent(340) which positions at the foreign network.</p> |
