PURPOSE: A method for making a backup of real-time network data for a multiple home location register in a mobile communication system, and an apparatus thereof are provided to reduce time and system load in making a backup of a call processing database, thereby minimizing call process drop of a subscriber. CONSTITUTION: If a mobile communication terminal transmits information change request signals for changing information of a database stored at a home location register, the database is updated based on the information change request signals(S501-S502,S505-S506,S509-S510). Changed information is formed and stored in a single segment file before or after updating the database(S503-S504,S507-S508,S511-S512). The stored segment file is transmitted to a home location register for a backup in real time to be recorded, and the corresponding segment file is deleted(S521-S522,S531-S533,S541-S543). |
