VODSL IAD AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A VoDSL(Voice over Digital Subscriber Line) IAD(Integrated Access Device) and a control method thereof are provided to perform a telephone call by using a general telephone network when it is difficult to perform a telephone call by using the VoDSL IAD due to power failure or network failure occurrence. CONSTITUTION: A DSL module(10) performs a high speed Internet communication and a plurality of voice communications through a telephone line. A hub device(20) divides the high speed Internet line through the DSL module(10) to be shared with an another client. A CPU(30), a DSP(40) and a CODEC(50) are devices for transmitting the voice with a digital method. An SLIC(60) distributes the voice into a plurality of voice communication lines. A telephone interface unit(70) performs a telephone call by using the distributed respective lines. An SLT(Single Line terminal)(80) enables a user to perform a telephone call through a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network).
