PURPOSE: An apparatus for fixing an optical system is provided to prevent flickering of a picture due to a difference in sound volume by fixing the optical system and absorbing vibration of a cabinet. CONSTITUTION: A bracket(110) is installed in a cabinet(120) and mounts an optical system(130) forming an image and projects the image. A first coupling unit includes protrusions(123,123') formed on a vertical side wall(121) of the cabinet, protrusion containing holes formed on one side of the bracket, and first vibration absorbing members(124,124'), rubber tubes, installed between the protrusions and the protrusion containing holes for absorbing vibration from the cabinet. A second coupling unit includes a second vibration absorbing member, rubber plate, installed at the other side wall(116) of the bracket for absorbing vibration from the cabinet, and an intermediate fixing member(142) partly fixed at the other side of the cabinet and partly contacting with the second vibration absorbing member for compressing the second vibration absorbing member toward the bracket.
