PURPOSE: A CD(Compact Disk), and a museum entrance and exit management system are provided to automatically count the visitors to a museum by using the CD, storing data on culture and tour facilities, which is distributed to general people. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a recognition device(11), a checking device(14), a controller(20), a memory(16), a display(15), the first lamp(17), and the second lamp(18). The recognition device(11), installed at an entrance or an exit of culture and tour facilities, e.g. a museum, includes a bar code scanner(12) which scans a bar code tag attached at a case of a CD held by a visitor. The checking device(14) checks whether the scanned bar code is included in preset code forms, and transfers the scanned bar code to the controller(20) if the scanned bar code is normal. The controller(20) turns on the first lamp(17) or the second lamp(18) according to the checking result of the checking device(14), stores an entrance time at the memory(16) if the scanned bar code is normal, and outputs the stored entrance time data on the display(15) if a manager requests entrance state data. The first lamp(17) expresses an entrance permission, and the second lamp(18) does an entrance non-permission according to the control of the controller(20).
