PURPOSE: A protector having a mirror function is provided to realize a mirror mode and a display mode, thereby using the protector for a mirror when a display function is not used. CONSTITUTION: A protecting panel unit(20) is placed on a picture display unit(30) displaying a picture, so that the protecting panel unit prevents dazzling, increases sharpness, and shields electromagnetic waves. A reflective coating glass(31) is accumulated on the protecting panel unit, being coated with two or more materials from iron, stainless steel, titanium, and cobalt. In the case of a display mode, the picture display unit comes to a picture display state and the reflective coating glass comes to a transmission mode, so that the picture display unit displays the picture by transmitting through the reflective coating glass. In the case of a mirror mode, the display of the picture display unit is totally or partly black, so that the reflective coating glass provides a function of a mirror.
