PURPOSE: An electronic control power steering system for a vehicle is provided to cut down manufacturing cost by using a stepping motor, to improve stability of the system by engaging a spool with the stepping motor, and to control stroke precisely by adjusting the rotational angle conveniently. CONSTITUTION: An electronic control power steering system comprises a spool(140) moving axially and regulating the opening degree of a hydraulic valve; a spring supporting the side of the spool; and an actuator(150) supporting the other side of the spool, and moving axially. The actuator is composed of a stepping motor for moving the spool axially according to the rotational angle. The manufacturing cost is reduced by using the stepping motor, and stability is improved by restricting drastic change of stroke with engaging the spool with the stepping motor.
