PRIMER SETS FOR MATURITY-ONSET DIABETES OF THE YOUNG 3 (MODY3) GENE AMPLIFICATION BY MULTIPLEX POLYMERASE CHAIN REACTION

PURPOSE: Primer sets for maturity-onset diabetes of the young 3 (MODY3) gene amplification by multiplex polymerase chain reaction are provided, thereby rapidly and cheaply amplifying a target gene and performing numerous reactions in one tube. CONSTITUTION: A primer set for amplifying a certain sequence of hepatocyte nuclear factor-1a (HNF-1a) is selected from the group consisting of a primer set consisting of the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 3 and 4 or 3 or less of nucleotide with added or deleted oligonucleotide in both ends thereof; a primer set consisting of the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 5 and 6 or 3 or less of nucleotide with added or deleted oligonucleotide in both ends thereof; a primer set consisting of the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 7 and 8 or 3 or less of nucleotide with added or deleted oligonucleotide in both ends thereof; a primer set consisting of the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 9 and 10 or 3 or less of nucleotide with added or deleted oligonucleotide in both ends thereof; a primer set consisting of the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 11 and 12 or 3 or less of nucleotide with added or deleted oligonucleotide in both ends thereof; a primer set consisting of the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 13 and 14 or 3 or less of nucleotide with added or deleted oligonucleotide in both ends thereof; a primer set consisting of the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 15 and 16 or 3 or less of nucleotide with added or deleted oligonucleotide in both ends thereof; a primer set consisting of the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 17 and 18 or 3 or less of nucleotide with added or deleted oligonucleotide in both ends thereof; a primer set consisting of the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 19 and 20 or 3 or less of nucleotide with added or deleted oligonucleotide in both ends thereof; and a primer set consisting of the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 21 and 22 or 3 or less of nucleotide with added or deleted oligonucleotide in both ends thereof.
