PURPOSE: An apparatus for generating a mobile communication synchronizing clock using a GPS and a method for improving a reception of a satellite in the same are provided to minimize a system error due to a bad satellite reception state. CONSTITUTION: An RF down converter(1) down-converts a signal wirelessly received from a GPS(Global Positioning System) for converting into an intermediate frequency signal. A GPS signal processing unit(2) converts the intermediate frequency signal into a digital signal and outputs GPS data processed through an appropriate channel and information related to abnormality of the GPS data. A satellite reception improving unit(10) outputs normal information with the GPS data in the case of having detected normal information, and converts abnormal information into normal information in the case of having detected abnormal information with outputting the previous GPS data stored at a memory. A synchronization clock generating unit(6) generates a synchronization clock to the received GPS data.
