PURPOSE: A discharge valve device of a rotary compressor is provided to reduce frictional noise and wear of a valve by improving the structure of a valve assembly. CONSTITUTION: A discharge valve device of a rotary compressor comprises an upper bearing, covering the compression space of a cylinder(8) in which an eccentric part(4a) of a rotating shaft(4) is inserted, and supporting the rotating shaft, and a valve assembly(120) comprised of a valve contacting with a discharge hole of the upper bearing and opening the discharge hole; a friction-preventing unit formed to the discharge hole contact part of the valve, to prevent frictional noise; and a retainer elastically supporting the valve, to make the inside of the cylinder opened under a predetermined pressure. In the friction-preventing unit, the discharge hole contact part of the valve is covered with a rubber coating material. A rubber ring is mounted to the discharge hole contact part of the valve.
