PURPOSE: An optical pickup actuator is provided to reduce the size and the thickness of an actuator and stabilize a tilting by arranging a radial coil for tilting inside the actuator. CONSTITUTION: A lens holder(21) secures an objective lens(23) condensing a light source for irradiating the light source to an optical disk. A focusing coil(25) is arranged at an inner surface of the lens holder. A tracking coil(27) is arranged on the focusing coil. A radial coil(28) is arranged at an edge of an open area of the lens holder. A main yoke(31) and a magnet(32) are arranged at the center and the open area from a lower part of the lens holder for forming a magnetic field. A cover yoke(30) is arranged inside the radial coil and the focusing coil from an upper part of the lens holder, so that the magnetic field is strengthened to accurately perform tracking, focusing, and tilting.
