PURPOSE: Structure of a fuel sender is provided to prevent wrong operation of a fuel gauge by reacting finely on change of the oil level of fuel in a fuel tank, and to improve the durability of the fuel sender by protecting against foreign matters with surrounding resisting pins and plates with a case. CONSTITUTION: A fuel sender has a float moving up and down according to the height of fuel in a fuel tank, a resisting pin(23) connected to the float by an arm(22) and moved according to the fuel amount, and a resisting plate(24) displaying resistance values according to the contact position of the resisting pin. The resisting plate and the resisting pin are stored in a case(30), and hinge shafts(31,32) are protruded in the front of the case. Magnets(41,42) are mounted to hinge shafts, and faced to each other. The outer magnet is combined with the arm, and the inner magnet is combined with the resisting pin. Wrong indication of the fuel gauge is prevented because the float reacts on the change of oil level finely. The endurance is improved by protecting the resisting plate and the resisting pin with the case.
