CONTROL METHOD OF DIRECT CONNECTING FOR DECELERATION IN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION OF VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A direct connecting control method for automatic transmission of vehicle is provided to extend an operating range for direct control connecting for deceleration by synchronizing an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) and a TCU(Transmission Control Unit) in a decelerating process. CONSTITUTION: A condition is checked to start direct connecting control for deceleration(S100). Synchronizing a turbine RPM(Revolution Per Minute) is requested to an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) if the condition is satisfied(S110). Whether slip of the turbine RPM is lower than reference value is checked(S120). Direct decelerating control of a damper clutch is operated and fuel cut control is requested(S140). A condition for removing direct decelerating control is checked(S150). The damper clutch is controlled to remove direct decelerating control if the condition is satisfied(S160). An operating range of direct decelerating control is extended by synchronizing the ECU and a TCU(Transmission Control Unit) in a decelerating process. Abnormal shock is minimized in connecting the damper clutch directly.
