PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal capable of modulating a voice by pitch information is provided to easily modulate the voice of a user by modifying pitch information of a vocoder. CONSTITUTION: A pitch modifying unit(145) receives pitch information from a vocoder(140), modifies received pitch information according to a specific pattern, and provides modified pitch information to the vocoder(140). A control unit(110) enables or disables the pitch modifying unit(145) according to the operation of an input unit(170). The control unit(110) enables the pitch modifying unit(145) whiles a user pushes a pitch modifying key in a busy state. The control unit(110) toggles the enable state of the pitch modifying unit(145) whenever the user pushes the pitch modifying key in the busy state.
