PURPOSE: A system and a method for opening and closing a door by using a mobile communication terminal are provided to remotely open the door by a Bluetooth communication scheme of the mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication terminal(110) stores passwords of various doors, and transmits the stored password by wireless according to the instruction of a user. A door opening and closing device(120) receives the password transmitted from the mobile communication terminal(110), and opens and closes a door. The door opening and closing device(120) has an RF(Radio Frequency) receiving unit(121) for receiving the password transmitted from the mobile communication terminal(110). The door opening and closing device(120) has an opening and closing control unit(123) for checking over whether the password received through the RF receiving unit(121) is identical to a certain door password and controlling the opening and closing of the door according to the compared result, and a door opening and closing driving unit(124) for opening the door according to the control of the opening and closing control unit(123).
