APPARATUS FOR CORRECTING SHAPE-DEFORMATION IN BOTH EDGE PARTS OF STEEL STRIP

PURPOSE: A shape-deformation correcting apparatus for a steel strip is provided to prevent an accident and to improve productivity by preventing defects from being formed on a surface of the steel strip through correcting a shape of both edge parts of the steel strip. CONSTITUTION: A shape-deformation correcting apparatus includes a base(10). An actuating roll(7) is installed at an upper front end of the base(10) in such a manner that the actuating roll(7) is operated by means of a hydraulic cylinder(8). A pair of connection members(15) are provided at the other side of the base(10). The connection members(15) are connected to a ball screw(16) connected to a motor(16) such that the connection members(15) are moved in opposition to each other. A pulse generator(22) is provided on the connection members(15) so as to control the movement of the connection member(15). A control roll(9) is installed on the connection members(15).
