PURPOSE: A duplexer is provided to duplex the data between a memory of an active board and a standby board by using a shared memory so that it is not necessary to update the memory of the standby board, it can enhance a performance of a processor, and it can reduce manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: The duplexer an active board(100), a standby board(200), a memory module(300) and a PCI(Peripheral Component Interconnect). The active board(100) processes data, and transmits the processed data to the memory module(300). The memory module(300) stores the processed data and shares the data with the standby board(200). The standby board(200) receives the processed data from the memory module(300), and updates a memory with the processed data. The active board(100) and the standby board(200) have the same structure, and include processors(110, 210), memories(120, 220), and PCI bridges(140, 240). The memory module(300) includes a shared memory(320), a memory controller(310), and a PCI bridge(330). The shared memory(320) stores the data transmitted by the active board(100), and shares the transmitted data with the standby board(200).
