PURPOSE: Installation structure of a sliding door in a vehicle body is provided to open and close the door smoothly by not bending the end of a guide rail, and to minimize the space for fixing the rail in the vehicle body by simplifying the process of the guide rail. CONSTITUTION: A door bracket(31) is fixed in a door, and connected to a roller bracket(32) supporting a guide roller(4) moving along a guide rail(2). The roller bracket is connected to the door bracket and turned around a vertical axis. The sliding door is elastically supported far from the vehicle body by an elastic unit, and a stopper(22) is installed in the end of the guide rail to prevent movement of the guide roller. The door is integrated with the vehicle body by moving the door for the vehicle body with bending the roller bracket against elastic force of the spring in closing the door.
