PURPOSE: A safe lock apparatus of a sliding door for a vehicle is provided to improve assembling efficiency by reducing the link structure for connecting a fuel filler and the sliding door, and to cut down manufacturing cost by reducing process and parts. CONSTITUTION: A safe lock device of a sliding door is composed of a magnetic switch detecting opening of a fuel filler, and a safety lock(20) controlling opening and closing of the sliding door by receiving signals from the switch. The safety lock has a latch rod(21) connected to a handle of the sliding door and a fitting member and composed of a stopper(23), and an actuator(22) having a bar(24) installed in the lower part of the stopper to stop operation of the stopper. The sliding door is locked by fitting the stopper of the latch rod to the bar in opening a fuel filler cap. The sliding door is opened by operating the stopper actively in closing the fuel filler cap.
