METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FERRITE STAINLESS STEEL FOR TABLEWARE

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing ferrite stainless steel for tableware is provided to improve bending property of conventional ferrite stainless steel for tableware by vacuum agitation. CONSTITUTION: The method is characterized in that slag is left in refining furnace in an amount of 5.5 to 22.5 kg/t·molten steel after refining ferrite stainless molten steel; tapping ferrite stainless molten steel into ladle; inert gas is injected into the refining furnace in a flow rate of 1.5 to 3.0 Nm¬3/t·slag under reduced pressure of less than 10 mbar, followed by vacuum agitation for 8 to 15 min, wherein fluorite powder is poured into the ferrite stainless molten steel in an amount of 55 to 100 kg/t·slag before vacuum agitation.
