REMOTE CONTROL SWITCH DEVICE USING PLC SCHEME

PURPOSE: A remote control switch device using a PLC(Power Line Communication) scheme is provided to remotely control illumination by the PLC scheme. CONSTITUTION: A power line modem IC(401) performs a PLC by a signal transmitted from a signal coupling circuit(403). The signal coupling circuit(403) has a PLC transformer. A power terminal and a power line signal driver terminal of the PLC transformer are connected for transmitting and receiving a signal. The power line modem IC(401) receives signals of an IR(Infrared) receiving unit(409) and a button unit(411), and performs a central control operation. If illumination is turned on, the power line modem IC(401) turns off an LED(Light Emitting Diode) display unit(413). If the illumination is turned off, the power line modem IC(401) turns on the LED display unit(413).
