PURPOSE: A paper sleeve for winding coil is provided to improve manual operation of coil winding process and secure transportation quality by coating a coating composition inducing proper friction coefficient on the surface of strawboard. CONSTITUTION: The paper sleeve for winding coil is characterized in that a coating composition of natural rubber comprising 1 to 2 wt.% of zinc oxide, 0.7 to 1.1 wt.% of sulfur, 32 to 37 wt.% of carbon black, 8 to 9 wt.% of pine resin, 8 to 9 wt.% of wax candle, 8 to 9 wt.% of vegetable oil and other inevitable impurities based on the total weight of the coating composition is coated on the surface of the paper sleeve for winding coil. The paper sleeve for winding coil is manufactured by a manufacturing method comprising the steps of continuously coating liquid polysol glue on one side surface of strawboard having thickness of 0.8 mm; making a paper sleeve having thickness of 10 mm by winding the polysol glue coated strawboard; coating the above coating composition diluted by solvent on the surface of the paper sleeve; and drying the coating composition coated paper sleeve at a temperature of 40 to 100 deg.C for 30 to 60 minutes.
