HETERORHABDITIS SP. GSN2 AND METHOD FOR BIOLOGICAL CONTROL OF HARMFUL INSECTS USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Heterorhabditis sp. GSN2 and a method for biological control of harmful insects using the same are provided, thereby environment-friendly controlling harmful insects with a high fatality rate. CONSTITUTION: Heterorhabditis sp. GSN2 (KCTC 0991BP) can control harmful insects, wherein the insect comprises Blitopertha orientalis (Waterhouse), Popillia quadriguttata, Ectinohoplia rufipes Motschulsky and Adoretus tenuimaculatus. A method for the biological control of harmful insects comprises treating 105 to 1015 cfu per hectare of Heterorhabditis sp. GSN2 (KCTC 0991BP) singly or with agricultural chemicals or fertilizer.
