PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for displaying data broadcasting using java Xlet are provided to promptly grasp contents of the data broadcasting, thereby selectively viewing the data broadcasting. CONSTITUTION: A tuner unit(201) receives digital broadcasting signals. A data capture unit(202) identifies and extracts only data signals from the digital broadcasting signals received from the tuner unit. A presentation engine(203) summarizes data broadcasting extracted from the data capture unit for converting the summarized data broadcasting into data for quick viewer. A java engine(204) converts the data for quick viewer into data for quick viewer for java. A browser(205) realizes the data for quick viewer for java on a screen. |
