RECEIVED SIGNAL STATE DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD

PURPOSE: A device and a method for displaying the received signal state are provided to improve the quality of a received signal by securing optimum environment for seeing and hearing. CONSTITUTION: A device(100) for displaying the received signal state includes a decision unit(110) comparing the received state information of a received broadcasting signal with a reference value and deciding whether the broadcasting signal state is good or not; a storing unit(120) in which a warning message followed by the received state information is stored; and a control unit(130) outputting the warning message corresponding to the received state information stored in the storing unit if the received state of the broadcasting signal is not good. The device for displaying the received signal state includes an input unit(140) having a signal state check key. If the signal state-check key is switched on, the control unit outputs the received state information and the state of the broadcasting signal.
