The invention concerns a chromium complex corresponding to the formula <CHEM> wherein : each X is, independently, selected from the group of halogen, alkoxide, aryloxide, amide, phosphide, hydride, hydrocarbyl or substituted hydrocarbyl; each L is, independently, a neutral electron donor group which stabilizes the complex; n is 2 or 3; p is a number from 0 to 3; R<1>, R<2>, R<3>, R<4> and R<5> are, independently, hydrogen, hydrocarbyl, substituted hydrocarbyl; R<6> and R<7> are, independently, aryl or substituted aryl; and its use for the polymerization of alpha-olefins. |
