DEVICE FOR CLAMPING DISC OF DISC PLAYER

PURPOSE: A device for clamping a disc of a disc player is provided to minimize a change in clamping force according to the thickness of the disc, thereby easily clamping various discs different in thickness. CONSTITUTION: A turntable(100) is provided for loading a disc(1). A disc clamper(200) is opposite to the turntable for clamping the disc loaded on the turntable. First and second magnetic substances(110,210) are installed on the turntable and the disc clamper respectively for providing clamping force by magnetic power. The first magnetic substance includes a first magnet(111) and a first yoke(112) located at a rear surface of the first magnet. The second magnetic substance includes a second yoke(212) arranged in opposite to an inner peripheral area of the first magnet, and a second magnet(211) installed outside the second yoke, wider than the first magnet, and having the polarity acting repulsive force in an area where the second magnet is overlapped with the first magnet and acting attractive force in an area where the second magnet is not overlapped with the first magnet.
