PURPOSE: An apparatus for producing disinfection water is provided to easily produce disinfection water capable of improving sanitary conditions of vegetables and tableware, and a method for controlling production of the disinfection water is provided. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a trans(110) for voltage dropping an A.C. supply voltage inputted to a plural A.C. powers; a key operation part(120) for setting an additive solution correspondingly to quantity; a control part(130) for supplying the converted D.C. power to respective units by full-wave rectifying A.C. power supplied from the trans, thereby converting the A.C. power into D.C. power, generating solenoid driving control signals correspondingly to the additive solution set in the key operation part, and controlling operation of the whole disinfection water producing apparatus; a garbage removing filter for removing garbage contained in water; a water pump(160) for flowing water contained in water tank(150) into the electrolytic cell by pumping; a solenoid valve(190) installed at a certain position of waterway between the electrolytic cell and water tank to discharge the additive solution stored in an additive solution can(191) to the waterway; a flow sensor(180) installed between the water pump and electrolytic cell to transfer the detected flow rate to the control part by detecting flow rate flown into the electrolytic cell; an electrolytic cell(170) for discharging the produced sterilizing disinfection water by electrolyzing the flown in water, thereby producing disinfection water; and an air pump(200) for reinforcing washability by forming bubbles in the disinfection water flowing to the waterway.
