PURPOSE: A steering system of a shimmy reduction type vehicle is provided to improve the absorbing and reducing performance for shimmy acting in a rotational direction of a steering wheel by embedding a damper to a rim part forming the rim of the steering wheel. CONSTITUTION: A steering system of a shimmy reduction type vehicle is composed of a damper(5) installed inside a hollow annular rim(1) forming the rim of a steering wheel(SW) with having a vibration damping body, which is made from metal materials and installed inside the hollow part, having a constant weight and an elastic member fixed to the inside of the damper to fix the vibration damping body at a plurality of parts.
