PURPOSE: A call reserving method of a multi-handset is provided to enable a phone with the multi-handset to reserve a call through the other handset, if one handset is busy. CONSTITUTION: A portable unit decides whether a handset occupies a call(S310). If so, a fixed unit notifies a call occupied state to the portable unit, and the portable unit displays the call occupied state(S320). If the handset under the call occupied state ends the call(S330), the fixed unit notifies the end of the call to each handset(S340). Another handset searches its memory to decide whether to be in a call reserved state(S350). If in the call reserved state, the corresponding handset requests occupation of a speech path(S360). And the handset notifies a user of a call occupied state according to the call reservation(S370).
