A foamed meat processed food having a specific density of 0.3-0.95 is new. Prodn. of the foamed meat processed foods comprises rubbing meat with salt, foaming by mixing, moulding and heating. The process for rubbing meat with salt can be conducted using e.g. a food cutter or silent-cutter. The mixing for foaming can be conducted by a batch or a continuous method. A foaming agent can be added to the meat e.g. egg white, guar-gum or taro-potato. |
