PURPOSE: A system and a method for controlling whine noise of the interior of a vehicle are provided to minimize the increase of the interior noise of a vehicle and to make a passenger does not feel the whine noise by increasing only the noise at a critical band. CONSTITUTION: A microphone(100) detects the interior whine noise of a vehicle. An amplifier(200) amplifies the signal noise applied from the microphone. A vehicle motion state detector(210) detects the engine rpm and the signal of a shift gear. An engine control unit(320) outputs signals corresponding to the engine rpm and shift gear by a predetermined program, a control unit(300) outputting a critical band of the whine noise by calculating the frequency and degree of the whine noise and the critical band, a filter(400) filtering the critical band, a white noise generator(500) generating a white noise depending on the critical band, a speaker amplifier(600) amplifying the white noise, and a speaker(700) outputting the amplified white noise.
