PURPOSE: Clamping structure of a leaf spring for a vehicle is provided to reduce friction noise by restricting wear of rubber with rotating the rubber according to deformation of an upper plate and fixing the rubber firmly with a rotating shaft, and to improve steering stability by increasing lateral supporting force of a suspension. CONSTITUTION: A silence pad(11) is inserted between plates of a leaf spring(10), and a lower plate(10a) is fixed on a lower clamp plate(13) by a rivet(12). A rubber(14) is contacted to an upper plate(10b) to press plates, and the cylindrical rubber is rotated. Vertical plates(22,23) are mounted at both sides of the lower clamp plate, and bearings(24,25) are installed on vertical plates. A rotating shaft(26) is installed in the bearings and supported, and the rubber is installed in the rotating shaft. The leaf spring is fixed between the lower clamp plate and the rubber of the rotating shaft, and the cylindrical rubber is supported rotatably by bearings. Wear is prevented by rotating the rubber and displacement of the rubber is restricted by the rotating shaft. Friction noise is reduced by clamping the leaf spring firmly, and lowering of steering stability is prevented.
